Technical support executive - Askia New York

Askia are one of the foremost market research software companies in the world with clients in more than 20 countries and offices in the United States, UK, France, Belgium and Germany.
Due to growth in North America, an immediate opportunity exists in our New York office for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Technical Support Executive.

The primary duties of this position will be:

  • To learn and master our extensive range of market research software tools which include products for questionnaire design, data collection for CATI, CAPI & Web surveys as well as data analysis software
  • To assist customers with technical queries by phone, email and in person
  • To create and design custom online surveys
  • To provide customers with both remote and on-site training
  • To provide pre-sales support
  • To liaise with Askia personnel in each of our office locations

This is a key role within our company and we are looking for the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in statistics, computer science or a market research related subject.
  • A high level of computer skills; experience of MS Access and SQL is essential.
  • A knowledge of web design basics incl. HTML and CSS would be useful. JavaScript skills would be especially welcomed.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to speak French and/or Spanish in addition to English, whilst not essential, would be a distinct advantage.

Due to the nature of the role, we are ideally looking for candidates who have some experience of the market research industry and with as much as 2 or more years total work experience. However, a person's skill set and personality is more important to us than their work experience.
